Ipe ready to leave for the USA

After all the hard work in the Jungle, we see the final product ready to be loaded onto container ships en-route to the good ole US of A.   As you can see, the journey is long and hard.  Once on the container ships the wood has to be fumigated prior to entry into our ports.  The US is very careful about introducing invasive bugs or plants.   Then Homeland Security has to inspect and clear the ship.  All of these things take time and add to your Ipe’s journey.
